Tattoo by a 9 year old

$1.00

Meet Dave, a devoted dad who thought it would be the ultimate bonding experience to let his 8-year-old daughter, Emily, design his next tattoo. Armed with her trusty set of crayons, Emily got to work and created what can only be described as a psychedelic unicorn-squid hybrid. It had the body of a unicorn, tentacles instead of legs, and its horn was a rainbow. Dave, ever the supportive father, looked at the drawing and thought, "Well, it's abstract art, right?"

Fast-forward to the tattoo parlor, where even the tattoo artist raised an eyebrow but proceeded anyway, perfectly capturing every squiggly line and improbable color. Now, Dave sports this unique masterpiece on his forearm, much to the amusement (and occasional horror) of friends and family. At PTA meetings, it's become the stuff of legends; other parents whisper, "There goes Dave, the guy with the 'Uniquid' on his arm." But for Dave, every awkward glance is worth it when he sees Emily's eyes light up, proud that her dad is literally wearing his love for her on his sleeve.
